Plans have been revealed for Drake’s new mega-mansion and it’s the ultimate lad pad.
A basketball court in the basement. A hot tub on the roof. Separate fridges for wine and champagne. This could be only be the home of a hip-hop superstar.
Drake reportedly spent $6.7m (£4.6m) on a property in Toronto’s plush Bridle Path area.
He plans to tear it down and build an enormous new home.

Other essential features in Drake’s planning blueprints include a jersey museum, a spa and tub retreat and a room for important artefacts.
Plans reveal two swimming pools (one in the basement and one outdoors) and boring, everyday rooms such as bedrooms (standard) and a lounge (yawn).

Drake (real name Aubrey Drake Graham) also plans a piano room, two dressing rooms, a music and screening lounge, a gym, a family room and two saunas.
And what home would be without the covered outdoor terraces?
The rapper, who recently topped the UK Official Singles Chart with his hit track One Dance, already owns a modest $8m (£5.5m) mansion in California.

Drake is applying to the Toronto City Council for exemptions to zoning bylaws to complete his dream home.
The property is in one of Toronto’s most affluent neighbourhoods, where Drake will be rubbing shoulders with business barons and media moguls.
Drake is currently one of the biggest stars in music, having recently surpassed Justin Bieber as the most streamed artist on Spotify.
