Moretz, 19, and Trainor, 22, recently got to know one another while appearing together on an episode of Watch What Happens Live – the same place Moretz spilled the beans about her long-rumored relationship.
“We’re in a relationship, it’s fine, it’s no biggie,” the Neighbors 2 star said of Beckham, 17. “I think the more I don’t make it mysterious the more people don’t care, so yes, we’re in a relationship,” she said.
The three got silly at the park in Anaheim, California – “scaling up the mountains” outside the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
Moretz and Trainor later took to their Instagram accounts, posting versions of the same adorable snap of the two wearing Minnie Mouse ears.
“Watch out for our new girl group,” wrote Moretz, while Trainor thanked the couple for making her first time in Disneyland “legit.”
At WWHL, Moretz and Trainor explained that they didn’t know one another well, having only seen each other on red carpets and parties.
The pair first met on Twitter. “I kind of think I slid into your DMs,” Moretz told Trainor about their direct messages. “Yeah! I freaked out, you have no idea.” Trainor confirmed.
Beckham also took to Instagram to share the Disney excitement, posting a photo of a smiling Moretz and Trainor hanging with a larger group.
He and Moretz appeared to keep their PDAs to a minimum while at the park.
“They walked past the line to one of the rollers coasters and were just talking to each other,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “They weren’t holding hands but they seemed like they were having a good time. They also had a crowd of people from Disney around them, I’m guessing, to prevent chaotic fans or something.”
Murmurings of Moretz and Beckham’s relationship began in August 2014. The two would reportedly meet during SoulCycle class, engaged in a little friendly competition during class.
Recently, Moretz told Net-a-Porter’s weekly digital magazine The EDIT that she found it tricky to meet genuine men.
“They’ve seen you in sex scenes in movies, they know what you look like crying, and they can read your interviews and know your favorite bands,” she explained. “So it feels like they have all this in common with you … Happens a lot.”
“I’ll think, ‘How are we vibing so hard right now?’ Then I realize, and I don’t care anymore. I just go back to work,” Moretz continued.
That skepticism led Moretz to tell The EDIT she only wanted to date someone in the business. “They’d understand the travel, the sex scenes with random people, the crazy schedules …”
